What to Expect at Our St Machar’s Concert
Something special is taking shape in the bandroom.
On Sunday, 1st November, Granite City Brass heads to the spectacular surroundings of St Machar’s Cathedral for Cathedral Brass, our next major concert and our first under Musical Director Adam Glynn.
We could tell you exactly what we’ve got planned.
But we’d rather you came and heard it for yourself.
Rehearsals over the past few weeks have been building towards this concert, with a programme designed to make full use of the band and the impressive setting of St Machar’s. There’ll be plenty that brass band audiences will recognise, a few things you might not expect, and some moments we're particularly looking forward to bringing to the Cathedral.
We’re keeping the finer details under wraps for now.
What we can say is that this is one we really don’t want you to miss.
Whether you regularly come along to hear Granite City Brass or haven’t seen us perform for a while, we’d love to have you in the audience. Every ticket sold supports the band and helps us continue putting on concerts, competing and making music here in Aberdeen.
Cathedral Brass takes place at St Machar’s Cathedral on Sunday, 1st November, from 2pm.
Tickets are available now, and if you're planning to join us, please book yours in advance.
Come along, take your seat and let us show you what we’ve been working on.
